| 草海 中国贵州省西部威宁县境内的石灰岩溶蚀湖。据《威宁县志》记载，清咸丰十年（1860），当地淫雨连绵，山洪暴发，崩涛汹涌，挟沙带石，将原来的消水洞堵塞而形成泽国，合南海、西海而名草海。草海水中草本植物繁多，尤以蒲草最丰盛。流域面积约380平方千米，湖水面积45平方千米，一般水深为2米，蓄水量1.4亿立方米。草海的水生植物有43种142属。在鱼类资源中，威宁细鱼是名贵特产，它长1～2厘米，肉嫩味鲜。冬季又是丹顶鹤、黑颈鹤、白鹳以及大雁、野鸭等候鸟的避寒胜地。 |
