LATS-P也是一种IgG，它与LATS不同，只对人的甲状腺有作用，故又称为“人甲状腺刺激免疫球蛋白”。90%的甲状腺功能亢进病人可以检出这种物质。它能和人甲状腺提取物结合，并和LATS相竞争，因此使LATS维持活性，对其起到了保护作用，故称为LATS-P。它作用在甲状腺细胞的TSH受体上，不同方法测出的甲状腺刺激性抗体有不同的名称，统称为甲状腺刺激免疫球蛋白(TSI）。
