舰面水兵出海作战、训练时穿着的服装。通常上衣是扣合式小翻领，下衣是工装背带裤。具有防风、防水、保暖和轻便等特点。冬季出海服，面料为防水胶布，内配防寒保暖层。防寒保暖层一般用人造毛制成，或用睛纶纤维与羊毛加工后制成。快艇出海服，供导弹、鱼雷快艇舱面人员航行时穿用，具有防风、防水、保暖等性能。该服为上、下衣分解，防水罩与保暖层分开，出海帽下有大披肩与上衣系结。防水罩用氯丁橡胶刮胶布，保暖层为细羊毛、腊纶混合絮片。海勤类作训服是舰艇人员在海上执勤时着用的制式工作服。舰艇在海上航行、战斗、锚泊时，为保证人员在海上环境恶劣的情况下正常生活和工作，不同的舰种配备具有相应防护性能的工作服。中国人民解放军海军到 70年代后期，初步形成海勤特种工作服系列，主要有水面舰艇防寒服、潜艇防寒服、潜艇亚麻背心和裤极、潜艇工作皮鞋、核潜艇连体工作服、快艇出海服、快艇防寒胶靴、快艇毡袜等。
