用途：用作香料和显微镜油。该品是调配香皂；化妆品香精的重要香料，尤其在檀香型精中用量较大。还可从中单离柏木脑；柏木烯，并可进一步合成乙酸柏木酯；甲基柏木醚；乙酰柏木烯等香料。
