性质:熔点97~99℃。旋光度[α]D-50°(c=1.12,氯仿)。植物来源为木兰科植物五味子(Schisandra chinensis Baill.)的种子,华中五味子(S.sphenanthera Rehd.et Wils.)的果实,长梗南五味子 (Kadsura  longipedunculata Finet et Gagn.)的根和茎,翼梗五味子(S.henryi Clarke)的果实。小鼠四氯化碳中毒性肝炎模型试验表明,本品有明显降血清谷丙转氨酶作用。100mg/kg剂量时,能延长小鼠巴比妥钠的睡眠时间,腹腔注射较灌胃作用强。
