性质:共聚单体含量高于20%的乙烯共聚物。密度0.87~0.90g/cm3者称超低密度聚乙烯。密度0.90~0.915g/cm3者称甚低密度聚乙烯(VLDPE)。结晶性低,其柔韧性、低模量、撕裂强度、耐穿刺性优于线性低密度聚乙烯,相当于醋酸乙烯含量4%~8%的乙烯-醋酸乙烯共聚物。但熔点和热变形温度比后者高,对聚乙烯和聚丙烯有极好的粘接性,密度0.90g/cm3。熔体指数0.8g/10min时,其拉伸强度30MPa,伸长率850%,弯曲弹性模量65MPa,拉伸冲击强度10.5J/m,熔点115℃,脆化温度<-75℃,耐环境应力开裂>2000h。采用低压气相法,溶液法、高压法由乙烯与α-烯烃共聚而成。用作代替乙烯-醋酸乙烯共聚物、软聚氯乙烯和某些弹性体用。用作食品及医药包装薄膜、容器衬里、地膜。
