性质:又称龙须胶,黄芪胶。由半乳阿拉伯聚糖及含有半乳糖醛酸基团的酸性多糖组成。另含果胶酶、可溶胶、纤维素、淀粉(约2%)、半乳糖、果糖、木糖、阿拉伯糖等。是从豆科胶黄蓍及其同属类植物的皮部分泌黏液物来的凝固物。呈白色至淡黄色半透明角质样弯曲薄片,或为粉末,无气味。于水中(1%~2%)能溶胀,不溶于乙醇。在食品、化妆品、印染,制革工业中作稳定剂、增稠剂及胶黏剂。
