性质：俗称冷胶，又称凤仙胶，卡丙诺胶。单体是丁烯炔基异丙醇CH2＝CH-C≡C(CH3)2OH，折射率1.475～1.477，保存于0℃左右冰箱中备用。在甲醇胶单体中加入1.0％的过氧化苯甲酰精制品经搅拌、加热溶解，根据使用要求，控制预聚合时间至适宜的黏度，胶在室温下能保存<3h。甲醇胶可用于金属、玻璃、云母、塑料、大理石、硬橡胶、硬纸板和纤维等的粘接。因光学性好，主要用于胶接光学透镜及某些平面镜和棱镜。黏合力强，但脆性较大，固化收缩率大(12％～15％)，不耐水蒸气侵蚀。甲醇胶对紫外光很敏感，不宜用甲醇胶胶合透紫外的光学零件。
