【制法】
取槟榔片，置锅内，照清炒法（附录Ⅱ D），炒至焦黄色。
【性状】
本品呈类圆形薄片，直径1.5～3cm，厚1～2mm。表面焦黄色，可见大 理石样花纹。质脆，易碎。气微，味涩、微苦。
【鉴别】
(1) 本品粉末焦黄色。内胚乳细胞极多，多破碎，无色，完整者呈不 规则多角形或类方形，胞间层不甚明显，直径56～112μm，壁厚6～11μm，纹孔较多， 甚大，类圆形或矩圆形，直径8～19μm。外胚乳细胞呈类方形、类多角形或作长条状， 直径40～72μm,壁厚约8μm，孔沟可察见，胞腔内大多数充满红棕色至深棕色物。种皮 石细胞呈纺锤形，多角形或多条形，直径24～64μm,壁厚5～12μm，淡黄棕色，纹孔少 数，裂缝状，有的胞腔内充满红棕色物。螺纹及网纹导管偶见，直径8～16μm。 (2) 照槟榔项下的[鉴别](2) 项试验，显相同的结果。
【性味与归经】
同槟榔。
【功能与主治】
消食导滞。用于食积不消，泻痢后重。
【用法与用量】
3～9g。
【贮藏】
同槟榔。
