性质:监测机动车驾驶员气息中乙醇含量的仪表。它是采用气体扩散电极,利用燃料电池的原理设计的。两电极均用铂催化剂,正极与大气连接,为氧阴极;负极只对乙醇具有活性,CO、氢、丙酮等(糖尿病患者及吸烟者的气息中可能存在)无干扰。监测时吸取一定体积的气息,仪表产生电流的极大值与乙醇含量有联系。
