A novel supermolecular complex [Cu(Hdpmd)2]·H4dsa has been hydrothermally synthesized by in situ reaction of bis-(2-Pyridyl) methanediol(H2dpmd) and(2R,3R)-2,3-dihydroxy-2,3-dimethy succinic acid(H4dsa) with a Cu(Ⅱ) salt and structurally characterized by single crystal X-ray diffraction,elemental analysis and IR.
H4dsa(1)(H2dpmd=二-2-吡啶二甲醇,H4dsa=2,3-二甲基-2,3-二羟基丁二酸),通过X-射线单晶衍射技术测定了晶体结构,并用对其进行了表征。

One mononuclear Ni(Ⅱ) complex Ni(H2bpd)[NH(CH2COO)2](H2O)2(H2bpd = bis(2-pyridyl)methanediol) was synthesized and structurally characterized by using IR and single-crystal X-ray diffraction method.
