性质:无色透明油状液体。凝固点-50℃,沸点250-257℃(0.53kPa),相对密度0.966(20/20℃),折光率1.483(25℃)。溶于醇、酮、醚、酯类、脂烃、芳烃及卤代烃,不溶于甘油、二醇类和某些胺类。在水中的溶解度小于0.01%(25℃)。

制备方法:由邻苯二甲酸酐与异癸醇酯化而得。工艺过程和邻苯二甲酸二辛酯[117-84-0]相似。

用途:该品可作为乙烯基树脂、纤维素树脂的主增塑剂。其挥发性小,耐迁移性、耐抽出性、电绝缘性优良。但因分子量较大,相容性、增塑效率和耐寒性不及邻苯二甲酸二辛酯(DOP)。含有该品的制品柔软性随温度的变化较小,适用于使用温度范围宽广的制品,如电线电缆护套、农用薄膜、运输带等。该品用于增塑糊可赋于糊料良好的流动性,长期存放的粘度变化小。该品受热易变色,但与酚类抗氧剂并用可以改善此性能。该品还可以作为合成橡胶的增塑剂,对胶粘的硫化无影响,也用作色谱固定液。该品的毒性极小。在大白鼠致死量的研究中,即使一次染毒剂量达63ml/kg,亦无死亡例。英国、意大利、荷兰、日本、美国允许该品用于制作食品包装材料。
