性质:无色油状液体。熔点14.5℃,沸点251-252℃(分解),120℃(1.33kPa),相对密度1.3482(15/15℃)。不溶于水,易溶于乙醇,溶于乙醚。

制备方法:由苯和氯磺酸反应而得。苯与氯磺酸以1:3摩尔比在20-30℃反应2h,即得粗品,经精制得成品。工业品苯磺酰氯为微黄色油状透明液体,含量≥98%,游离酸≤0.20%。原料消耗定额:苯808.8kg/t、氯磺酸2788.4kg/t。

用途:农药、染料、医药的中间体。用于冰染染料色基的制造,如红色基B、红色基GL。用于磺胺药物的制造。苯磺酰氯是检定胶类的试剂。
