生产方法 主要采用酯化法。以山梨醇为原料，先在真空和加热下进行脱水环化，生成失水山梨醇，然后与3倍于山梨醇摩尔的油酸进行酯化反应而得。
用途 非离子型表面活性剂。主要用作膏霜类化妆品的油包水型乳化剂。也可用作增稠剂和分散剂。通常与其它表面活性剂配合使用，以调整乳化效果。
