性质： 用服从F分布的统计量检验两正态总体方差是否一致的一种统计检验方法。检验统计量F=,式中，S12≤S22因为S12和S22都是同一方差σ2的估计量，σ12=σ22=σ2方差比F应近似等于或稍大于1。当计算S12和S22的自由度较小时，用S12和S22估计σ2在一定置信度下允许有一些差异，但差异不会太大。反之，若差异太大。方差比F大于在一定置信度下临界值Fα，则认为S12和S22是同一方差σ2的估计量的{艮设与实验事实有矛盾，换言之，S12和S22在统计上有显著性差异，不是同一方差σ2的估计量。
