| 吕宋国 Luzon State 菲律宾古国之一。在今吕宋岛马尼拉一带。吕宋盛产黄金，物产丰饶，贸易繁荣。曾于1372年（中国明洪武五年）至1410年(明永乐八年)间3次遣使访问中国，明朝也于1405年遣使报聘。15、16世纪，中国东南沿海商民同吕宋的交往相当频繁，开始有华侨留居吕宋。16世纪西班牙殖民者侵入菲律宾北部，在马尼拉一带遇到顽强的抵抗。在罗阇（国王）苏莱曼的指挥下，马尼拉奋勇抵御西班牙的侵略。1571年6月3日苏莱曼在海战中阵亡。其后吕宋逐步为西班牙所征服。西班牙在马尼拉建立殖民统治后 ，中国明代史籍仍称之为“吕宋”。 |
