性质:用来运输乏燃料元件的专用容器。乏燃料自反应堆卸料后,元件要在冷却水池中冷却一段时间才运往后处理厂。在运输时元件仍有一定余热,有很强的放射性。运输容器设计有足够的屏蔽层和散热装置。运输容器为不锈钢,包有铅屏蔽层,外层为装有散热片的外壳。元件用不锈钢栅格定位,浸没在水中。运输容器装有安全阀和温度、压力测量仪表,在运输时连续监测。容器在设计定型前要经过坠落、冲击、耐火、浸渍等一系列试验和检验,以确保临界安全和放射性泄漏低于规定标准。
