      化学式H3PO3。无色晶体;有蒜臭;熔点73.6°C,密度1.651克/厘米3(21.2°C);有强吸湿性,在水中溶解度很大。亚磷酸是二元酸,在200°C发生如下歧化反应:
  4H3PO3─→3H3PO4+PH3亚磷酸是强还原剂,在空气中逐渐氧化为正磷酸。由三氯化磷溶于浓盐酸,再于低温蒸去盐酸而得;也可由三氧化二磷缓慢与水作用生成。
