This paper gives a brief introduction to the technological process and hardware configuration of wet part and dry part and QCS in paper mill,and addresses the method of using MPI network in wet part and dry part and QCS control station,using Profibus-DP network between the scanner control station and operating station to realize high speed data transfer.

By using PROFIBUS-DP network communication,this system is of good characteristics,such as good reliability and high performance/price ratio.
