性质:沉淀池的一种类型。池形为长方形,水从池的一端流入,按水平方向在池内流动,从另一端溢出,在池进口处底部设有储泥斗,沉降的污泥借静水压由排泥管排出。平流沉淀池长度一般为30~50m,宽度为5~10m;池子的长宽比不小于4:1,有效池深一般为2.5~3.0m。平流式深沉池深沉效果较好,主要用于废水初次沉淀池或原水的沉沙池,但点地面积较大。
