fun口gengti shu一Ping妇女更替水平(。man replacement)维持人口世代更新、人数不增不减的生育率水平。人口更替速度取决于人口的生育水平和死亡水平。当生育率和死亡率都较高时,人口更替迅速;当生育率和死亡率都较低时,人口更替缓慢。在更替过程中,当生育水平超过死亡水平时,人口逐渐增加;反之,则逐渐减少。当生育水平与死亡水平保持平衡时,人口的更替虽仍不断进行,但总人口则不增不减。这时的生育率水平(具体指终身生育率或总和生育率)成为更替水平。 生育率更替水平取决于人口的分年龄死亡率水平。死亡率越高的人口,其生育率的更替水平便相应地越高。一般净再生产率为l时的生育率(尤指终身生育率或总和生育率)水平即为更替水平。按当前世界多数国家的分年龄死亡率计算,生育率的更替水平约在2.2~2.4之间。如果平均每个妇女生育的子女数超过或低于这个水平,人口便继续增长或减少。所以,每个妇女平均生育子女数(即终身生育率)控制在更替水平以上(或以下),是决定人口长期发展是增是减的关键。 (卢红)
