【来源】
为豆科植物蒙自木蓝的根。
【植物形态】
蒙自木蓝 小灌木，高可达1.5米以上，幼枝有密生平贴的白毛，有显著的节。羽状复叶，长4～7厘米，小叶13～17，对生，狭矩形或椭圆状矩形，长5～13毫米，宽3.5～6毫米。纸质，下面疏生白毛。总状花序腋生，短于叶序，花蓝紫色。荚果，长2.4厘米。 生于山野疏林下。分布云南等地。
【采集】
夏、秋采集。晒干或鲜用。
【性味】
苦，寒。
【功用主治】
消炎镇痛，舒筋活络。
【选方】
①治肺炎：蒙自木蓝根粉末一至二钱。日服三次，开水送服。或三至五钱，水煎服。 ②治脉管炎，骨髓炎，跌打损伤；试治肿瘤：蒙自木蓝根五钱至一两。泡酒一斤，每次5～10毫升，日服三次。或三至五钱，冷水煎服。 ③治风湿瘫痪：蒙自木蓝根二至三钱。炖鸡服。 ④治疮疡：蒙自木蓝根粉末撒患处。
