To study the methylation in the promoter of LRP15 gene and its relationship with gene expression and to explore the possible mechanism of regulating LRP15 gene methylation, the methylation in the promoter of LRP15 gene in K562 cell line was detected by MS-PCR.

Methods The promoter methylation status of the promoter region of RASSF1A was analyzed by methylation specific-polymerase chain reaction(MS-PCR) in 46 case of surgical resected gliomas(including 19 cases of astrocytoma,16 cases of apendymoma,11 case of glioblastomas) and 6 cases of normal brain tissues.
