The purpose of this paper is to analyze the main points of postmodern curriculum thoughts, which could build new views for the present curriculum reform in China.

In fact, the competency-based curriculum idea is not just limited to specific course mode like CBE; in essence, rather than put more stress on skills than knowledge,it acknowledges the significance of working knowledge in vocational education, instead, and it pays attention to students\' subjective role; it also has comprehensive understanding to capacity, not limited to "task skills".
