| 印刻 imprinting 在动物个体生命的一个特定时期，由于遇到某一特定刺激而建立的一种固定的行为模式。例如小鸡、小鸭等幼禽对它们所遇到的第一个客体产生跟随行为，并在以后对这个客体表现出偏爱。印刻是鸟类的突出现象，但幼小的哺乳动物以至鱼、昆虫等都有类似行为。能够形成印刻的时间一般很短，如小鸭形成跟随反应在孵出后13～16小时，小鸡在孵出后5～24小时。印刻产生后，它就保持下去，影响成年时的社会性行为，甚至性行为。 印刻是一种特殊的学习方式。它不需要强化和练习，客体本身自然地引出某种行为并起强化作用，还能成为其他行为的强化物。在鸟类的跟随反应中，跟随某一种特征、依恋某一个客体是鸟类的本能，而跟随它们的母亲或其他客体则是学得的。一般的学习可以在任何年龄进行，而印刻只发生在生物学上决定的某一特殊时期。不过到现在为止，还没有充足的材料证明印刻和其他学习形式有根本性质的不同。 |
