| 善导（613～681） 中国唐代僧人，净土宗实际创始人。山东临淄（今山东淄博）人，俗姓朱。幼年出家，习《法华经》、《维摩经》。唐太宗贞观十五年（641）赴石壁山（ 今山西交城境内 ）玄中寺，拜道绰为师，修方等忏，听讲《观无量寿经》，笃勤精苦，得念佛三昧。后到长安光明寺传净土法门，倡导专心念佛，正式创立净土宗 。演说净土法门 30 余年。受施之财，用以撰写《阿弥陀经》10 余万卷 ，彩画净土变相 300 多壁。据《佛祖统记》卷26，“长安道俗传授净土法门者不可胜数，从其化者至有诵《弥陀经》十万至五十万卷者，念佛日课万声至十万声者”。人称弥陀化身。著有《观无量寿佛经疏 》、《往生礼赞偈》、《净土法事赞》、《般舟赞》、《观念法门》，为净土宗重要依据。弟子有怀感等。善导与昙鸾、道绰被日本净土宗尊为三祖。 |
