The place names number over two thousand in《A History of Three Countries》,but Pei Song-zhi s notes only number in tens, most in Wu country, some in Wei,and few in Shu, there was no lack of value among the notes,the only one of geographical data have been researved for later generations.
《三国志》中出现的地名达两千余处,而裴松之所注却只有数十处,且吴国为多,魏次之,蜀极少,但其中却不乏有价值者,为后世保存了一些绝无仅有的地理资料。

The book Lie Yi Zhuan" and Sou Shen Ji and go Wu Zhi and You Ming Lu written by Pei Song-zhi who lived in early Song dynasty indicated that the production of strange recording nove had achieved the top.
而志怪小说的“史”的身份也在宋初裴松之的《三国志注》里面得到了最辉煌的体现。
