| 别字 跟汉字正字不同的字。凡当写某字，而写为另外一个音同或音近的字，这个字就称为别字。清代顾炎武《日知录》卷十八“别字”条说：“别字者，本当为此字，而误为彼字也。今人谓之白字，乃别音之转。”清代赵之谦有《六朝别字记》，近代罗振玉有《碑别字》，都是采录古代碑刻中别字的书。
