This paper analyzes on the present situation faced commonly by the libraries of the merged universities upgraded from the colleges, and puts forward two relations that should be treated well and some problems that should be solved emphatically by the ideological and political work of the merged universities upgraded from the colleges.

The paper analyses the problems and questions to which the newly-qualified colleges have brought because of the transformation of the college-positioning, and proposes and studies the countermeasures which the kinds of college libraries should be adopted.
