【无过失汽车保险】以法律上的“无过失责任原则”为保险责任基础，对被保险人在汽车损害(伤害)事故中不管有无过失责任都要进行赔偿的一种汽车保险。“无过失原则”是民事法律中关于损害赔偿的一种责任原则。在“无过失原则”下，损害赔偿事件中的加害事故和被害方不管有无法律上的疏忽责任都要负赔偿的一种责任原则。这种“无过失原则”经常与过失责任原则合并使用，以利于损害事故中的受害方。其赔案的处理无须调查是谁的过错，在一定范围内取代了法律责任制度，是一种特殊形式的损害保险。这种保险赔偿，一般是由被害方的责任保险人负责，而不是责任方原保险人。根据多数国家的法律规定，受害方已保此险的保险人有权在任何情况下向责任方或其保险人迫偿。这种保险是一般汽车保险责任的扩大。
