“哈丁”系伟大卫国战争前白一普通村落，共29户人家。1943年3月2日德国法西斯以搜查白游击队员为名闯进该村，将149人（其中包括75个儿童）全部杀害。为纪念“哈丁村”及被法西斯毁掉的其它白俄罗斯村庄，1969年5月7日在原哈丁村建成纪念建筑雕塑群。该建筑雕塑群占地50公顷，恢复了旧哈丁村的的原貌。名为《不屈的人》的铜像位于建筑群的中心，旁边是排列整齐的花岗石板。在该建筑群内还建有死难者公墓。公墓白色大理石上铭刻着死者留给生者的话：“请善良的人们记住，我们热爱生命、祖国和亲爱的你们。我们被活活烧死了。我们请求所有人：将悲痛化作勇敢和力量，为了这个世界永久和平与安宁，为了无论何时、何地再也不会有人被烧死”。在石碑另一面上刻有生者对死者的回答：“你们是我们的亲人。在你们面前人们悲伤地低下头。在黑色的灾难日子里，你们接受了死亡，没有向法西斯杀人犯屈服。但你们对祖国强烈的爱永存。人民对你们的思念将如大地和太阳一样永恒”。
