红河谷风景旅游度假区是辽宁清原的一个重要景区,距县城13公里。红河自龙岗山滚马岭逶迤而出,红河两岸山势雄伟,涧水清澈,千回百转,林海松涛。山花映红河水,赤橙如霞,故名红河,素有东北“小三峡”之称。
红河谷风景区以自然景观为主,辅以人文景观,为游人推出游览、休闲、度假,娱乐的幽静场所,景区总面积1.5万亩,其中水域800亩,库区最深26米,集中体现为三个区:第一区为风尾坡上游,称为世外桃源。主要有水上乐园、滴水砬子、百米金沙滩等项目;第二区为综合服务区,称为浪窝听月及湖山仙境,主要有一、二号码头、脚踏、手划、电瓶、机动船共36只、夏令营基地、海岛观音殿、释迦牟尼石佛像、月牙岛、阳关三叠瀑布、度假村、红河饭店、怡园饭庄、滑草垂钓等景点设施和项目。第三区为红河峡谷,称为涛打龙门的下游,主要有天然浴场、及山门等。
景区内总游程达6公里,乘船置身于山水湖色之中,舒缓流畅。静观山水,令人体验大自然的情趣。
红河谷风景旅游度假区森林覆盖率高达90%,是天然森林浴场,林下生长着近百种山野菜、食用菌、野生动植物、中草药及花卉,是天然的“东北生物生态展览馆”。主要服务项目:餐饮、住宿、野炊、森林旅游、森林探险、动植物考察、夏令营、观光田园乡村、生态农庄游等。
