互动作用论(interaetionism)亦称“相互作用论”、“交互作用论”，有多种不同的用法，其共同特征是主张所研究的诸因素处于相互作用、相互决定的关系之中。(l)在哲学心理学中，指对心身关系的一种观点，即认为心理活动与身体活动处于相互作用关系中，其中心理活动影响身体活动，身体活动也影响心理活动，又称“心身交互作用论”，与“心身平行论”相对应。其典型表现为笛卡儿二元论的交互决定论。早期机能心理学强调心理活动对有机体适应环境的功用价值，也包含有互动作用论的思想。(2)体系心理学中指主张行为是由个人因素和环境因素共同决定的观点，其典型表现是K.勒温的行为公式:B汀企E夕，即行为是个人和环境的函数。美国心理学家A.班杜拉提出三元交互决定论，认为人的主体因素、行为和环境三者处于交互决定关系之中，它们共同决定一个人的心理机能活动。(3)在人格心理学和社会心理学中，指个人和情境相互影响的观点，即认为不仅环境影响和塑造个人的行为方式及其人格特征，而且个人的行为方式和人格特征也诱导出不同的环境特征来，两者处于相互影响、相互决定的关系中。目前，互动作用论在人格心理学和社会心理学中占主导地位。(4)在心理统计学中，指两个(或多个)变量的效应是彼此依赖的，例如，作业难度和唤醒水平通常发生相互作用，唤醒水平的增强会提高简单作业的成绩，而对困难作业则会降低其成绩。 (许波撰牟文博审)
