价值观性别差异(sex differenee invafues)男女在对客体意义的总体评价方面不同。德国哲学家、教育家斯普兰格曾把人的价值观分为六类:一是理论的价值观,以知识和真理为中心;二是审美的价值观,以形式协调和匀称为中心;三是政治的价值观,以权力、地位、名望为中心;四是社会的价值观,以他人和群体为中心:五是经济的价值观,以有效和实惠为中心;六是宗教的价仇观,以信仰为中心。心理学家G.奥尔波特等人依据这六种分类制定了价值观测验,用以测量个体相应的价值观的强度。研究表明,在价值观方面存在着明显的性别差异。男性的价值观强度高低依次排列为:政治的、经济的、理论的、社会的、宗教的、审美的;女性的依次排列为:宗教的、审美的、社会的、政治的、理论的、经济的。其中男性价值观强度最高的为理论的、经济的和政治的,女性价值观强度最高的为审美的、宗教的和社会的。价值观的性别差异导致了两性在生活兴趣、生活道路的选择等方面的不同。 (陈若莉撰葛香备高玉样审)
