      浙江曲种。流行于渐江温州地区。因过去为盲人演唱,又称"瞽词"、"盲词"。清嘉庆、道光年间已有流传,盛行于同治以后。温州鼓词早期只用竹筷敲打皮扁鼓击节。到光绪年间增添了具有特殊风格的伴奏乐器牛筋琴,开始为 5根弦,后增至12根弦;有的还配上三粒板、小抱月等乐器。温州鼓词以温州方言演唱,带有浓厚的南方民歌风味。它的曲调有原板、慢板、紧板、叠板等几十种板式。温州鼓词的唱词大都是七字句,兼有五字句,押普通话与温州话相近相通的辙韵,偶句末字押平声。语言通俗生动,有丰富的群众语汇和民间谚语。温州鼓词分"平词"、"大词"两大类。平词曲调优美,唱多于白,长于抒情,以牛筋琴为主要伴奏乐器。内容采自传统说部和民间故事,有《高机卖绡》等传统曲目。平词又分为南北两大派。南派曲调委婉细腻,内容多为悲欢离合的故事;北派曲调粗犷激越,内容多为《三国》、《水浒》故事。近年来,两种艺术流派都吸取了戏曲艺术的曲调声腔,丰富了曲调和板式,进行了艺术革新。大词也称"娘娘词",为旧时敬神曲词,曲调平板,只击扁鼓伴唱,或伴以大锣大鼓。大词《陈十四娘娘》可以连唱几昼夜。旧时多由瞽者演唱。
