领导生命周期理论(t heory of life eyeleof leadership)俄亥俄州立大学心理学家卡门提出的一种领导行为理论。他把领导行为的分析与阿吉利斯的“不成熟一成熟理论”结合起来创造了“三度空间领导效率模型”，见生命周期模式图: 高_ 关l/l、l 系11一l」I 于T!I!\l 下尹‘}”恻 低—工作行为.--争高 同霸洲 生命周期模式图图中横坐标代表工作行为;纵坐标代表关系行为。同时引进被领导者的不同成熟度。它的基本取向是:当被领导者的成熟度很低时，领导方式应采用高工作、低关系的命令式，通过下行信息沟通向下级规定任务，做出具体指示;被领导者的成熟度处于中低等水平时，领导方式应采用高关系、高工作的说服教育式，通过双向沟通，加强信息交流;被领导者的成熟程度处于中高等水平时，领导方式应采用低工作、高关系的参与式。用参与管理加强关系行为，减少工作行为:被领导者的成熟度很高时，领导方式可以采取低任务、低关系的授权式，给下级更多的自主权，用高度信任来调动其积极性。在学校管理中，在教师成熟度较低时(如对新教师)，领导工作应狠抓业务，即高工作;但当教师成熟度很高时(如对老教师)，领导则可以放手让他们自己干，即所谓的低工作、低关系。 (孙俊山撰张燮申)
