In this article the author illustrated the difference between the traditional grammar teaching methods and vocabulary methods,pointed out that vocabulary teaching methods are the base of improving the abilities of using language comprehensively.

But there are too many syntactic ambiguities in Chinese,and it is not easy to parse the Chinese sentences automatically only with the Part of Speech tagging.

This paper makes a deep analysis at the semantic, syntactic and pragmatic dimensions, and reveals the rich cultural implications and the reasons of their development.
