Especially on the current concerned phenomenon of "mainland brides", this paper makes the corresponding viewpoints through using the research results as reference and other means of interviews, surveys and statistics.

By analyzing the contents of Mainland China news reports in the two newspapers of Taiwan News and China Times, this thesis aims to discuss how Taiwan newspapers have constructed the Mainland China image and what the image they have constructed is like.
