复合材料损伤容限damage toleranee。f com-posites设计容许的裂纹增长速度。在飞机工业中,把损伤容限规定为在不危及飞机安全情况下,结构在制造和使用期间遇到的损伤或缺陷的容许界限。 复合材料是一种脆性、各向异性材料,对应力集中十分敏感。如在使用中遭受到偶然局部冲击载荷,加工与安装过程中被碰伤或划伤,生产制造中形成一定缺陷,以及连接处开孔或开槽等,均会在其内部造成损伤。对于最常出现的低速冲击,损伤大都发生在基体中,纤维很少受到损伤,因此拉伸强度降低不多。.但是即使从表面看没有多大损伤的低速冲击,在基体内造成的损伤也可能使压缩强度大幅度降低。冲击损伤容限是设计的限制因素,而压缩又是限制的载荷模式。 对于损伤容限的研究一般通过模拟客观条件,人为地造成不同程度的损伤,并测量剩余强度,以确定某种特定损伤的容许界限。既确保安全使用,又使材料发挥最大效率,而制造、维护的花费又最少。 复合材料损伤的主要形式是脱粘和分层。因此,提高其损伤容限的有效途径是改进纤维表面处理,提高纤维与基体界面粘结强度;采用韧性的热塑性基体或增韧的热固性基体;增加冲击韧性;采用三向编织物作增强体;在脆性纤维中合理加入韧性纤维,构成混杂复合材料等。(陶云宝)
