GoWeb is an intelligent ontology-based search engine for medicine and medical literature available on the Internet,which allows users to explore Yahoo search results with the Gene Ontology(GO)and Medical Subject Headings(MeSH).
本文对基于基因本体(Gene Ontology,GO)和医学主题词表(MeSH)的生物医学专业搜索引擎GoWeb从其结构、原理、检索方法,以及与其它搜索引擎的比较等方面展开研究,最后发现GoWeb比综合性搜索引擎在搜索专业医学资源方面要好,比专业搜索引擎搜索到资源要及时,其最大的特点是对搜索结果进行了专业的分类,起到了导航作用,并能使检索者很快找到自己需要的内容。
