| 保护接零 protective connect toneutral 把电工设备的金属外壳和电网的零线连接，以保护人身安全的一种用电安全措施。在电压低于1000伏的接零电网中，若电工设备因绝缘损坏或意外情况而使金属外壳带电时，形成相线对中性线的单相短路，则线路上的保护装置（自动开关或熔断器）迅速动作，切断电源，从而使设备的金属部分不致于长时间存在危险的电压，这就保证了人身安全。多相制交流电力系统中，把星形连接的绕组的中性点直接接地，使其与大地等电位，即为零电位。由接地的中性点引出的导线称为零线。在同一电源供电的电工设备上，不容许一部分设备采用保护接零，另一部分设备采用保护接地（见接地）。因为当保护接地的设备外壳带电时 ，若其接地电阻r′D较大，故障电流ID不足以使保护装置动作，则因工作电阻rD的存在，使中性线上一直存在电压U0＝IDrD，此时 ，保护接零设备的外壳上长时间存在危险的电压U0，危及人身安全。 |
