Based on the materials now available,the paper gives a brief account of the distributions,types,culˉtural features and origins of the Neolithic Age culture in the Erhai area from the perspective of archeology and confirms that the culture comes into being on the basis of the culture of the ancient human beings and forms a unique style by absorbing the cultural factors of other cultures.
