库布人 Kubus 东南亚印度尼西亚民族。主要分布在苏门答腊岛东南部河川附近的丛林沼泽地带。属尼格罗-澳大利亚人种,为古维达人和尼格利陀人的混血后裔。原分布地区较广,13~15世纪受马来人排挤而进入该地,并部分混入马来人的血统。使用库布语,属南岛语系印度尼西亚语族,接近印度尼西亚语。无文字。名义上信伊斯兰教,实际上盛行精灵崇拜,有巫师。仍保留氏族公社制。以大家族为单位,一般二三十人共同居住一间用竹竿、树枝搭成的临时茅屋。在热带丛林中从事狩猎和采集,过着漂泊不定的原始生活,与外界的接触仅限于用林产品和猎获物与邻族进行无言交换。19世纪以后,部分转向定居,从事刀耕火种农业和渔业。定居形成村落者,与外界交往增多。儿童赤身,男女衣着较少,只有兜裆布和缠腰布,系用树皮捶制而成。现逐渐采用马来人的服装。他们对水有恐惧心理,很少沐浴。过去,一般将死者放在用树枝搭成的小屋中烧掉,现多实行土葬。由于在库布人居住地区发现和开采石油,库布人的闭塞状态已被打破,生活方式也开始发生变化。 |
