By means of fumigating two years old seedlings in open top chambers,this paper studied the effect of automobile exhaust on proline content,relative conductivity,malondialdehyde content(MDA) superoxide dismutase(SOD) activity and peroxidase(POD) activity,in the seedlings foliage of four tree species Buxus sinica Cheng,Aesculus chinensis Bunge.

性质:超氧化物歧化酶是催化超氧阴离子自由基(O2)转变为H2O2和O2的歧化反应(2O2+2H+→H2O2+O2)的生物催化剂,对细胞和生物起保护作用。按其酶分子内所含金属离子不同在自然界有三种类型,即含Cu2+和Zn2+者称Cu,Zn-SOD;含Mn2+者称Mn-SOD;含Fe2+者称Fe-SOD。前者大量存在于哺乳动物的红细胞上,Mn-SOD存在于哺乳动物的线粒体中。人的Mn-SOD的结构基因定位于第6号染色体、长臂、二区、五带,即6q25,它在长达12 858bp的人Mn-SOD基因组DNA结构中。在染色体的这一部位恰是胶质细胞瘤、淋巴瘤、黑色素瘤、卵巢癌等多种肿瘤染色体畸变的频发部位。人的Mn-SOD基因的转录有长约1kb和4kb的两种mRNA,主要是不同组织或细胞来源的Mn-SOD基因在3′一端非翻译区在长度和碱基序列上存在明显差异。该基因除了表达成Mn-SOD,以除去过剩的超氧自由基外,而基因本身又属于肿瘤抑制基因。
