Using the mapping of ion related parameters of formation water distribution in the Taihe oilfield,authors have tried to define forms and boundary of formation water system and determinate the direction of petroleum migration based on the gradient of ion related parameters.

Based on the measured results from oceanographic survey carried out, in the East China Sea(26°30′-32°30′N、121°00′-128°00′E) in 1999 from June to October, this paper analyzed species composition and distribution of fish eggs and larvae and studied on the relationship with species composition and hydrologic environmental factors.

By using sound velocity calculated by the temperature and salinity data obtained in the middle and northern Taiwan Strait in February and March of 1998, several main types of vertical distributions of sound velocity and some of the important characteristics of vertical and horizontal distributions of sound velocity in the studied area have been analysed in detail.

Based on the surveying data of the project "China-Korea Joint Research on Seawater Circulation and Mass Flux in the Huanghai Sea" (1996～1997), the horizontal distribution features and seasonal variations of dissolved oxygen in the whole southern Huanghai Sea arediscussed.

The results show that there is no obvious trend in planar distribution of macrobenthic species diversity within the surveyed areas.
