Choosing PVC slice to simulate the flexible vegetation,the laboratory experiments were carried out in an open channel with submerged flexible vegetation,and 3D acoustic Doppler velocimeter(Micro ADV) was introduced to measure the local flow velocities and Reynolds stress.
