In order to in situ growing carbon nanofibers/carbon nanotubes on carbon fibers for further investigating the application of carbon nanofibers/carbon nanotubes in C/C composites,nano-nickel catalyst particles were coated on the carbon fibers' surfaces by KOH-impregnation-reduction method.
