The Jingpohu hydropower plant was built in 1978,it consists 4 generaters,the capacity is 60MW(4×15MW),the generaters have worked for 28 years,the machines are quitely old .
镜泊湖地下电站1978年建成,由4台机组组成,装机容量60MW(4×15MW),现水轮发电机组已运行二十八年,设备陈旧且老化严重,近年来虽然对一些附属设备包括计算机监控方面等进行了技术改造,但计算机监控系统始终没有全面完善。

镜泊湖在黑龙江省东南部,是我国北方著名的风景区和避暑胜地,被誉为“北方的西湖”。
镜泊湖南北长45公里,东西最宽处6公里,是一个狭长形的高山堰塞湖,也就是约万年前火山喷发,流出的岩浆,把牡丹江截断而形成的湖。湖面海拔350米,最深处超过60米,最浅处则只有1米。水面约90平方公里,容水量约16亿立方米。
