痉挛性斜颈发作时颈部肌肉呈阵挛性(头呈抽动状)或强制性(头强直在一个方向)不随意收缩,强制性使头不断转向某一方向,转动方向根据受累颈肌不同而异。受累肌肉常肥大、有痛感,严重病例可扩散至胸大肌、胸小肌、背部长肌及肩部肌群等,并有严重肌痛,即诊断为畸形性肌紧张不全症。
