晶片补强陶瓷墓复合材料platelet reinforeedceramic composites以晶片为增强体、陶瓷为基体的复合材料。晶片是指片状或扁平状的微小单晶体,直径一般为5一20尽m,厚度一般为2一10尽m。现在主要有SIC、AIN、A12O3等虎分的晶片。将晶片加入到Si3N4、SIC、Z心2、AI:03等陶瓷材料中,可以通过裂纹偏转、桥接等复杂的界面作用达到增强增韧效果。与晶须相比,晶片增韧补强复合材料具有以下优点:晶片尺寸比晶须大,表面与基体反应所产生的界面影响减少,裂纹偏转的机制可以得到较好的发挥;晶片的复合工艺更简单;一维的晶须只能使与之垂直的单一方向的裂纹偏转,而二维的板状晶片可以使裂纹在二维方向上偏转,这不仅增加了偏转效果,还能避免材料性能的各向异性。 已有研究表明,碳化硅晶片对氮化硅材料具有明显的增韧效果。氮化硅陶瓷中加入10wt%siC晶片后,断裂韧性可以提高10一40%。但是,晶片的加入却往往使材料抗弯强度下降。要使晶片同时起到增韧和增强的效果,分散及复合工艺的技术还有待改进。 (李建保)
